BOOMBOX

"People, we are only human when we love deeply. Only when we love can we call ourselves human," – with these words begins the new song by the band Boombox for which the team, along with director Denis Duzhnik, shot an unusual video, as the musicians themselves call its format – a lyrical video.

Throughout the video, there is only one person - artist and designer Evelina Yatselenko, who writes the song's lyrics on a huge sheet of paper with a marker. Thanks to such an unusual accent, the composition's text transforms into an important and powerful message.

The video was "written" in 7 hours, practically as improvisation. This is not Evelina's first collaboration with the band. If you have seen Boombox's latest posters or the cover of their single on iTunes, you have surely noticed the design based on lettering.

Over the years, the number of views on YouTube has reached almost 40 million.

There were also over 47,000 mentions of Evelina's participation in this video.

After the release of this video, Boombox's marketing team began to use elements of its style in their PR campaigns and during the musical tour itself. You can notice the video being used during concerts.

After creating the video, Evelina was invited to create the entire album's identity.

This led to the creation of the first banner, which was then reproduced on all media and could be seen on the streets during the tour.

Everything continued with the creation of the vinyl record, CD, and cassette covers for true music lovers and connoisseurs.

Part of the identity can be seen on screens during the band's performances and during press conferences about the album release "People."

Also, Evelina appeared in a video dedicated to the beginning of the Boombox tour. In this video, she draws the tour schedule on paper canvas without any prior preparation.

In addition to various merchandise created in parallel with the tour, some people were so fascinated by the band's creativity that they tattooed themselves with images drawn by Evelina.

I am deeply grateful to the main inspiration and producer of the Boombox band, Alexey Sogomonov, for years of collaboration and friendship!
